For the Love of Dog Rescue ("4tLoD") had been wanting to redesign their website for a few years, but due to resource constraints, they were unable to pull the trigger until Bizzistance offered to redesign their website pro bono.

The Executive Director, Dale Green, who is the woman-of-all-trades for the Rescue, and the designer and content manager of the original website, had envisioned their new site to be "black and tan" to represent Rottweiler colors. The Rescue had already redesigned their banner-style logo to the round emblem logo for other purposes, and wanted to use their round logo on their new website.

The original site was designed in html, then ASP. It was a desktop-only, non-responsive, non-mobile-friendly website. Bizzistance changed all that!

The image on the left was the actual size of the webpage on a computer screen. The image on the right shows the desktop view of the responsive and mobile-friendly redesign. We included all the content from the original site, but reconfigured them to display in a mobile-friendly format.

1. Facebook banners were reused in the rotating home page banner without needing to be resized through an image editor.
2. Bizzistance drafted the short intro to the home page to satisfy SEO needs. Client made minor edits after launch.
3. Visitors can navigate the site using the menu in the header or via the "picture buttons" on the page.
4. The Upcoming Events section is powered by Bizzistance' strategic use of tagged blog widgets.
   
5. A new, interactive Event Calendar was added to the site. Clicking an event displays the event's details, including a map that activates a navigation map when viewed on a smartphone.
   • In mobile view, the calendar displays as an agenda list, for optimal use of real estate on a smaller screen sizes.
6. The "Who We Are" section links to the About page.
7. The "Say Hello" section links to the Contact page.
8. The "Recent Happy Endings" section is another strategically-tagged widget, and does double duty as adoption news as well as a portrait gallery of recently adopted dogs
9. The footer contains a synchronized Twitter feed, an in-site advertisement area, as well as the typical footer information. The footer advertisement is another Imaginutive™ use of a blog widget.
10. The " Subscribe to Newsletter " links to the site's subscription form. Upon submission, contact data is entered into their Constant Contact database and triggers an email notification to the Rescue that a new subscriber has signed up for their newsletter.

By using tagged blog widgets strategically, the following pages dynamically change when new blog articles are written.

For the Love of Dog Rottweiler and Pitbull Rescue of New Hampshire is a New Hampshire corporation and a registered charity in New Hampshire operating under the federal tax exempt status of 501c3. The organization is also a licensed animal shelter in the state of New Hampshire, a good-standing member of the Mayor's Alliance of New York City, the Animal Rescue Network of New England, and a Code of Ethics Rottweiler Rescue organization.
